Giveaway!!!
and other book news
Oof, it’s been a week, but I managed to write over 1000 words the other day on a book, so feeling blessed. I’m hoping to write a little more this weekend, but I also have a new class to prepare for next semester, so we’ll have to wait and see.
Until then, enjoy this giveaway.

She hired him to fix her sink. Now he’s pretending to be her boyfriend.
Liv
The sink is leaking, my rival’s Valentine’s Day wedding is looming (seriously... only a supervillain has a wedding on Valentine’s Day, am I right?!), and my cat is giving me the cold shoulder because we’re out of her favorite gourmet treats. My life needs an emergency repair. Enter Noah—the hunky handyman who just happens to be in my kitchen when panic strikes. He’s practical, down-to-earth, and the perfect fake date for this ridiculous wedding. Which means it should be simple. Easy. No problem at all. So why does it already feel complicated?
Noah
I’ve fixed a lot of things, but pretending to be someone’s boyfriend? That’s new. Liv is smart, gorgeous, and completely out of my league—but the more time I spend with her, the less this feels like an act. She thinks I’m just helping her get through one awkward night. But I can’t help wondering if I might be exactly what she’s been looking for all along.
She wrote the rom-com script but didn’t expect to star in it or fall for her leading man.
Margorie:
I’m thrilled when a studio options my Valentine’s rom-com script. But when the female star drops out and the filming schedule leaves no wiggle room, I’m forced to step into the leading lady role. Acting beside Grant Akerson is no hardship—he’s one of Hollywood’s silver fox leading men. Except the on-screen sparks between us don’t stay on screen. Am I just faking a romance for the cameras or falling for my leading man?
Grant:
The more I get to know Margorie, the harder I fall. Between our real-life awkward meet cute, a botched kissing scene, and this undeniable attraction, the line between acting and reality starts to blur. When did faking it become so real?
Should Margorie and Grant stick to the script or follow their heart?
Phoebe has a gift she doesn’t want to lose.
Phoebe is a dressmaker who loves to search a warehouse full of fabric until a bolt demands to be made into the perfect article of clothing for one of her friends.
J.R. is a sheriff whose idea of a good time is running a military-level obstacle course through mud.
When these two cross paths, the attraction is something neither one is prepared for.
But when Phoebe was young, her Irish grandmother warned her that falling in love would cause her to lose her gift—the fabric would no longer “speak” to her.
Without her gift, what will Phoebe be?
Will she play it safe and remain a dressmaker whose magic guides her life? Or will she take a risk and allow the sheriff to bring her more magic than she can imagine?
The answer may be as simple as taking the first step.
