Don't have time to read?

You would not believe how many people tell me they used to love to read, but now they don’t have the time. And I get it. I find myself out of hours every day though I’m usually wasting a few, but if that’s not you and time is really short OR if you just like listening while you garden or walk or whatever, then this promo is for you. It’s only a few authors but it’s all Clean or Sweet audiobooks. I narrate my own so I read the story how I wanted it to sound.

I didn’t always do that. At the beginning, I hired narrators to read for me, but I didn’t always love the way they read it. I used to be a DJ on the radio and I’ve done theater and public speaking forever, so one day my husband asked me why I didn’t narrate them myself. I didn’t think I knew how, but it turned out it wasn’t that hard. Now, a few of the first books I narrated, I speak a little too fast. One day I’ll redo them, but I really enjoyed reading my stories and my readers seemed to as well. I even started doing narration for other authors which I loved. Unfortunately AI has taken over the narration world so I’m not asked to do as many any more, but I still get one or two a year. In fact, Double Take, which is in this promo is the latest book I narrated. It’s a suspense book about a race to save missing children and it’s a good read.

Last year, the contract on the few I’d had other narrators do finally ended. I’ve started getting them up again with my narration so if you go hunting and can’t find a few of my books, this is probably why.

I also put my books up on YouTube and got monetized. Yes, I know there are ads, but that’s how I get paid, so if you don’t mind listening to a few ads, you can find all my books on YouTube (except The Beginning of the End which got banned during covid lol — maybe I’ll try to put it up again since YouTube doesn’t seem to be banning that anymore). It’s free to listen there or you can get them from your favorite audio store.

Kay starts her last week of drama camp this next week and I’m excited to see what she gets to do this week and then school is just around the corner. I’m definitely not ready yet and was so hoping to have a book for you, but I’ll keep plugging away and cross my fingers. Have a great week!
