It’s been another one of those weeks. I feel like I say that every week, but it’s true. We had a cross country meet on Wednesday that thankfully went well. My son Spenser is running and a few weeks ago he had a bad race due to being sick. Since then it’s been in his head, but he finally kicked it and had another good run. Unfortunately, he gave his cold to his dad who then gave it to me. I took a sick day today to try and get more sleep because I had to speak at a donor event tonight and then get set up for a craft fair tomorrow, but I still don’t feel great. So, it’s off to bed shortly for me.
I’m still working on Fighting for Love, but it’s looking like I’ll have to ask for an extension unless God gives me the words quickly. I’m praying he will.
I’ve almost finished narrating Beneath the Surface, so look for that soon, and I just had a reader reach out asking if there will be more books in the Men of Fire Beach series. Though I hadn’t planned it, she reminded me that Nick’s story is untold, so when the story hits me, I’ll definitely give him his story.
Thank you for sticking with me even though these newsletters have been sporadic and send some prayers for a quick recovery so I can get back to writing. I hope you have a blessed week.
